1. Our Services
We provide Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Swedish Massage.
Swedish Massage: This is a therapeutic relaxation treatment.
Sports & Deep Tissue: These treatments are clinical in nature and involve assessment of specific muscle groups and injury history.
Data Collection (The “Why”)
To provide these services safely, we collect:
Treatment Records (SOAP Notes): We legally must document what we did during your session, including the techniques used (e.g., trigger point therapy in Sports Massage vs. effleurage in Swedish).
Health History: To identify “contraindications” (reasons why a massage might be unsafe for you).
Your Privacy
Storage: Your physical intake forms are stored in a locked cabinet at The Reboot Room (Snap Fitness, Sandhurst). Digital records are handled in accordance with UK GDPR.
Confidentiality: Your data is never shared with Snap Fitness staff or third parties without your explicit written consent, unless required by law or insurance necessity.
Retention: We keep records for 7 years (standard insurance requirement) before secure destruction.
Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy
Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee of 50% of the treatment price.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time to ensure the next client is not delayed. The full treatment fee will still apply.
No-Shows: Failure to attend without notice will result in a charge of the full session fee.
